Updates on weaving with milkbags

Two items of interest …

I’ve been referencing the Milkbags Unlimited page called `Coaching’, for information on weaving with milkbags. They have a sketch of plans for making the frame, and then two videos to show how it’s done. I’ve just noticed a revamping of their site, so the weaving component can now be found at this link:

Here in the Ottawa area, some modifications to those plans were shown at the mid-October Eco-Fair (see my 7 Nov. report, below), designed by Danielle Duval-Conway. We’ve been working with a local high school shop teacher to further improve her design, and hope to have frames made by the shop students available for a nominal fee. We’re also planning to organise a workshop in the new year, so stay tuned for details.
